For all our products we are providing
minimum 1 year warranty*.

Our standard warranty terms are 2 years on motor and battery, 5 years on frames and 12 months on all other parts, wear and tear parts excluded.

For commercial use we providing 6 month warranty.

*different warranty terms apply to products purchased from NZEBIKES Ltd. before June 2016.

THE WARRANTY:

Within the given warranty, we will supply the new parts and where appropriate advice on fixing the product.

If the Bike and/or defective parts
need to be returned to us for repair. We do not cover shipping costs, all warranties
require that the product be returned with the defective part at the customers
expense, the customer is then liable to collect the product themselves or pay
shipping costs.

Repair or replacement is entirely at our discretion.

After the warranty period we will assist in any problems you have but all replacement parts and any servicing costs would be at your own expense.

WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
Plastic parts, break pads, tires, or damage to any part of the product due to abuse or misuse.
Labour that occurs outside of our facility.
Parts damaged by accidents, neglect, misuse, abuse, or shipping.
Damage caused by a non-covered part or by any part not purchased from our facility.

Products that have NOT been regularly checked and serviced
as highlighted in conditions.

NOTE: We reserve the right to determine what damage is due to defective materials and what is due to product abuse or misuse. Misuse includes leaving the bike covered in mud and dirt. Not keeping the bike lubricated with the correct oil. Using incorrect lubricants .

FAULTS:

Faults must be reported immediately by phone, writing, email or by person. We will assess the problem and try to rectify without the need for you to send the product back to us to help save time. We will send out a replacement part, if possible, to be fitted by yourselves with guidance from us. If the problem is found to be due to neglect or not covered under the warranty then we shall fix the problem at a rate of (nz$) 65 per hour plus the cost of replacement parts. If the goods sent out are subsequently unwanted then a partial refund shall be made less our administration and handling costs, and the delivery and subsequent collection of the parts.

CONDITIONS:

Upon purchase of all products, they must be thoroughly checked to ensure that no nuts or bolts have become loose or dropped out in transit. The same check should be carried out prior to each ride of the product, thus ensuring long-term durability.
We advise that all products are ridden with adequate safety clothing i.e. helmets etc. Products must be ridden in a responsible manner and must not be abused for the warranty to be valid. These are on-road vehicles and should be ridden with due care and attention for your own safety and that of the public.
